I have learnt more in depth information about my role as SENCO and how I can implement best practice in my setting. This was what I was expecting to learn during the course and am grateful for the knowledge. 

I will definitely be able to use my new skills and knowledge in my setting as the Early Years SENCO. I have learnt so much about the theory side, legislations, how to do planning and about EHCP. 

Hazel was really friendly and always ready to give support when needed. Hazel texted me to ask how I was getting on with the assignments and was really helpful when answering my questions. Hazel always marked my submissions really quickly and would text back quickly too. 

I would have found it more useful to learn more about the different types of SEND found in the early years, particularly speech and language. 

I found it very useful learning how to complete the graduated response cycle and the importance of this. Is there any training that you would wish to see us provide in their current future Perhaps more specific speech and language in the early years training.
